This rectangle ruler measures 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches and features clear black and white markings in 1-inch grids, with 1/8 and 1/4 inch increments. The black numbers printed on white dots enhance readability, while the 1/4 inch grip sides facilitate precise cutting of whole inches. Dashed lines on two adjoining sides assist in trimming seam allowances. The Turn-A-Round feature, marked by white numbers on black dots and 1/2 inch grip sides, helps add seam allowances accurately. White 45-degree angles are used for trimming half-square triangles in whole inch increments, and black 45-degree angles for half-inch increments. An additional black 45-degree line crosses 1/4 inch from the edge for squaring up flying geese units, squares on point, or cross-hatching. The ruler also includes a 30/60-degree angle.
