This close-fitting, lined, boned corset features a bias binding finish, seam detail, extension, shaped hemline, and front or back lacing. It includes ruffles and purchased lacing for all views, with ribbon for bows in some variations and trim for others. Designed for light to medium weight woven fabrics such as wool, velveteen, brocade, taffeta, chintz, and cotton or cotton blends, it is unsuitable for fabrics with obvious diagonals and those with nap. Notions required include twenty-eight 1/4" opening two-part lets, 1/4" boning with casing, and various cords or ribbons depending on the view. Additional trims like lace and lace edging are optional. The pattern covers sizes 4 through 12, with included pieces and sewing instructions.
