The scoop coater features two edges: a rounded edge for lower mesh count screens, allowing quick buildup with minimal coats, and a sharp edge for higher mesh count screens and face coats, delivering a thinner, more uniform layer. Made from durable hard anodized aluminum, it includes sealed, angled plastic end guidance caps to prevent leaks and facilitate cleaning. The tool is compatible with any liquid emulsion and accommodates various mesh counts. For optimal results, select a scoop coater that is 1 inch smaller than the inside dimension of your screen. Remove the black rubber protective pieces before use. Recommended for frame sizes around 16" x 20".
