Product Description The INV-7 is part of the InVision range of noise-reducing microphone shock-mounts designed for discreet, low-profile use in broadcast studio environments where wind shielding is not required. It is built to significantly reduce handling noise when on end of a boom pole, but can also be mounted on floor, desk and suspended stands. The INV-7 is ideal for small, pencil-type condenser mics (such as the Sennheiser MKH 50 and RODE NT 55) incorporating a small capsule portion at the front of the mic body. Boom Shock Mounts are extremely robust and virtually unbreakable, as they do not use elastic or rubber components that are prone to wear and tear. There is a 3/8 inch thread on the underside of each mount for use with a boom pole, and they can also be attached to microphone stands using readily-available adapters where required. A soft grip is moulded into each mic clip, preventing any slipping or twisting and providing a secure grip on the mic. They are suitable for use with Randamp;oslash;de, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, Saramonic and a variety of other small condenser and shotgun mics. In 1969, introduced the world's first microphone windshield system for location sound and electronic news-gathering (ENG). has since been honoured with a Technical Achievement Award from the Association of Motion Picture Arts andamp; Sciences, and continue to set the standard for professional microphone wind shielding and handling noise reduction. - Trusted by Professionals.
